Women’s Workshop:

The Core of the matter

  • Women's Workshop: The Core of the matter

Your core runs through the centre of your body and is your stabilizing system.

It’s closely connected to your organs, digestion, and breath.

It’s intertwined with your thoughts, emotions, and your nervous system.

Hormones affect it, food affects it, and interpersonal/social environments affect it.

If you take care of your core, you take care of yourSelf.

    Strength begins at your core.

The core of the Matter is a supportive, hands-on workshop designed to help you deepen your understanding, strength, and trust in your core.

    What We’ll Explore:

Anatomy – a clear, empowering look at your deep core and pelvic floor muscles and how to strengthen specific muscles, and well as one whole unit.

Hormones & your core – how cycles, peri-menopause, and post-menopause shift strength, stability, and recovery (and what to do about it)

Digestion & pressure – bloating, constipation, and abdominal pressure: what they’re really doing to your core

The power of breath – how breathing patterns can weaken or strengthen your core (and how to use breath as a built-in support system)

Balance & longevity – why your core is the foundation of stability, injury prevention, and moving confidently as you age

Core & back or hip pain - how they relate to each other
